Rando – 04

I’m trying something a bit simpler with the color. It’s an experiment so don’t be too harsh. The idea is to have less black. I’m going to try to have only the things that are visually important in black in this set of panels. Also oddly enough I had no problem drawing me sitting down freehand and without reference. Go me :D. I’m going to keep this one short. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. This year I’m taking my family out to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. For me it’ll be the second time, for them it will be the first. I’m eager to see what my brother thinks. We’re seeing it in 3D at a local theater with reclining seats, it’s going to be awesome. It was a pretty penny for the tickets though. What surprise gifts did you guys get? Anything odd? I’m having a little trouble getting my lady something since I tend to spoil her during the year. She told me to make her something and though I’ve got a few ideas I haven’t landed on anything yet. If you know my lady let me know your suggestions.

I’ve been hard at work with the new It’s All Downhilll from Here. I’ve got scripts, ideas, rewrites, character sketches. You’d think this wasn’t a hobby. I think you’ll enjoy it once I start posting it starting January 01. I’ve got a few tweaks I’d like to do before I start thumbnailing it.
