it’s all downhill from here – 08

I hope your Indy Pop Con experience was as excellent as mine! I saw some friends from IUPUI and got to see what people locally are creating. Lots of prints this con, I also met Sam Ellis (of Adventure Time comics and lead character design of Archer) and talked to him for nearly 45 minutes on ways to give back to the community by running comic camps. Randomly though there was a bagpiper (pictures below) who went around the con playing the imperial march or various zelda songs. It’s strange hearing your childhood played on the bagpipes.

Con season is over for me until November! I’m working with a group of talented individuals from IUPUI and I’d like to showcase them at the INDYpendent Self Publisher Show.

Between now and then expect to see a lot of output on my end. I’m excited to see what my group makes and to continue the it’s all downhill from here story. Podcast records tomorrow and should be up friday, stay tuned loyal readers!
